TODAY IS Monday, September 28, 2025 and I am truly “Grateful” for God’s corrections. He is teaching me to make better choices and decisions based on His Word and [not] my own. Particularly when He gives me directions. Last weekend I felt more at ease about asking God questions. After all He’s the kind of God that loves his children who diligently seek after Him for answers. Especially answers that pertain to my assignments here on earth.
As an example, I received two texts from dear friends who were requesting prayer for love ones and close family friends. The response from the group in this texting thread usually goes something like “the devil is a liar, or I stand in agreement with you,” or someone will text “Amen,” and the rest of the tribe chimes in “I’m in agreement” and that’s how it usually ends.
But I asked the Lord what is really taking place or are we NOT utilizing our “faith” and “power” He left us on earth? Or could it be we’re lessening the essence of His Power with vain repetition unknowingly? Is His Holy Spirit at work in [us] to heal the sick, open blind eyes, and give people hope? I’m sensing the enemy doesn’t feel any threat from this group of like-minded- believers. It may even be possible we don’t really believe our prayers are making a difference. It appears Satan has no fright or regret when our texting is being displayed in the general or common usage because we’re so accustomed to using these phrases which ends up appearing to having less power or no power at all when we pray. So, I ask myself what is my assignment Lord?
As believers of the Lord Jesus Christ where are the signs and wonders [we] should be performing [now] in this life? Acts 19:11-12…God worked deliverance through Paul – “And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.” The book of Acts shows that ordinary believers as well as Paul and the apostles walked in this power in the name of Jesus. This is the same power I’m asking God the Father in the name of Jesus to be manifested in the earth as well as in Los Angeles, CA to use the body of Christ to fulfill, and complete His assignments by Faith, Prayer and Trusting in His Word. For this purpose, we too can boldly cast out demons and pray for the sick who can be healed on the spot as we pray in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
Mark 11:24 says “Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Furthermore, God’s Word says when we pray believe we receive…I must ask myself am I believing when I pray? Whenever there is a problem or issue I ALWAYS ask myself have I missed Him in my hearing. I know that God doesn’t make mistakes even though I sometimes want to blame Him for my mistakes.
The essence of my assignment is TO TRUST GOD. How do I know it is God directing me? Study His word day and night so that we will recognize when something is off. Pray continually asking Him for direction. We wanted this process to be easier but it isn’t and thats, that. As in any army there are different ranks. In the US military the “Seal Team” indicates one who has gone through a more intense difficult training to handle special assignments. God is currently training His army in special tactics to love unconditionally, not be offended easily, to not behave rudely, to not be puffed up with pride. To use our weapons against the enemies of God the Father. To daily bind the spirit of iniquity whose job description is to influence people away from righteousness and toward sin, 2nd Thessalonians 2:7 where Paul talks about the “mystery of iniquity” that is already at work in the world.
As believers of the Lord Jesus Christ, it would be reckless and a slaughter to His children to release us into a battle that we are not been trained on how to fully use our weapons. I asked God where are the signs and wonders [we] should be performing [now] in this life? He says daughter you are a part of an army in training. TRUST ME! ASK ME! The questions are excellent.
In summary, I repeat that in Acts 19:12 God worked deliverance through Paul – “and God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.” The book of Acts shows that not only Paul and the Apostles, but ordinary believers walked in this power in the name of Jesus. This is the same power I’m asking God the Father in the name of Jesus to be manifested in the earth now and in the life of Christians all over the world. This power is available to God’s children in a time and season, trust in the Mighty Name of Jesus! Do your part to prepare yourself. Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding…..Proverbs 3:5-6.
